Tier 4 - WeaverHouse

Hi everyone,

As the nation will be aware, most areas of the UK have entered Tier 4 restrictions, including Cheshire.

WeaverHouse will remain open as normal for face to face Osteopathic and Chiropody treatments only, as they are part of the group of businesses that are permitted to do so during the latest tier regulations announced earlier today.

Other therapies will remain available by Zoom or telephone consultation. This method proved very successful during the last major lockdown.

Strict PPE remains paramount for all members of our team, to ensure that patients that visit the practice, together with the staff and Associates that work alongside each other, remain safe at all times.

We will close on Thurs 31 Dec at 2pm and will resume normal opening hours from Monday 04 January at 8am.

Should you have any questions please call the practice on 01270 629933, where one of the team will get back to you.

Warmest wishes to you all,

Andrew Antoniou

WeaverHouse COVID-19 Update 03 June 2020

Hi everyone !

Once again, I hope this message finds you all well.

I am pleased to announce that WeaverHouse will be opening its doors again on Tues 09 June 2020 ! All PPE has been put in place, as always the safety of our patients, Associates and staff, remains paramount.

We are starting with a soft opening for June only - this will consist of 1 Osteopath, Chris and 1 Podiatrist, Michael. They will working alongside my Client Services Manager, Nicola, on duty covering reception.

The reason I have taken this approach, is that as a practice, we can test the waters on what does and does not work. This will give me enough time to alter things accordingly, before the rest of the team joins us at the beginning of July.

Chris and Michael have limited slots left in their diaries, so if you would like an appointment, please call the practice and leave a message. One of the team will get back to you within 24 hours to book you in.

The practice may look different, as we have had no choice but to adapt to a 'minimal' effect. We have had to switch the coffee and water dispensers off, and clear loose items that we always use to dress the practice - but rest assured, as soon as we are able, we will return to where we were before this awful virus changed all our lives.

Whilst our governing body has set out rules and regulations we have to adhere to, our standards remain extremely high, and we will strive to deliver the outstanding service that we are renowned for.

Once you have made your appointment, your text alert reminder will include information on your visit to WeaverHouse.

I would like to thank you so much for your patience and loyalty towards the practice. The practice could have opened sooner, but I would not risk the health and welfare of all until appropriate processes were introduced. My final phase is a further risk assessment to be carried out by Nicola and I on Saturday 06 June, 3 days before we reopen.

I know I speak for the whole team when I say how excited we are about seeing you all ! We look forward to hearing what new skills you have learnt, or dishes you have mastered, or indeed anything else you have been doing whilst on lockdown!

Warmest Regards

WeaverHouse COVID-19 Update Friday 22 May 2020

Hello everyone

I hope this message, once again, finds you, your family, friends and loved ones, well during this time, which continues to challenge us all.

I have been very busy behind the scenes and am excited to say that we are reopening the practice on Tues 09 June. This will be a phased opening and we hope to resume to normal practice by the first week in July.

The reason I have made this decision is because we, like all other businesses, have never been put in a situation like this. We are starting with 2 practitioners on duty, where we will be able to assess what does and does not work.

Once we have carried out this trial, and have collected valuable information, we can then add more practitioners to the day to day clinic hours resulting in the practice resuming its normal opening hours.

Full PPE will be used when treating all our patients,

The safety and well being of our patients, Associates, and the reception team, has always remained paramount in my actions, hence taking these extra precautions will ensure that this continues.

All patients will be contacted from Thurs 28 May, that have missed their appointments. For those of you that require an appointment, please call the practice and leave a message, and someone will call you back.

There will be some changes in the way the practice looks, the way the people that look after you look, and some processes will be different.

What will not change is myself and the team that work alongside me. We will offer you the same professional service in all aspects of any treatment we provide. We can not wait to hear what you have all been up to and the new skills you have learnt whilst being on lockdown.

We very much look forward to welcoming you with open arms (2 meters apart lol) back to our practice and thank you so very much for your patience during this time.

COVID-19 Update Friday 15 May 2020

Hi everyone

I hope this message finds you well and safe during the current climate.

As previously, I have taken advice from the government in regards to the reopening of the practice. The practice needs to be a safe environment for all, and because of this, the practice needs to temporarily change the way it is run.

I am busy putting these changes in to place, including PPE as well as many other things in ensuring that every patient, every practitioner and every member of the reception team, will ultimately feel safe in being a part of the practice again, once we are open.

As well as doing this, I am also keeping a close watch on the rates of the infection, in the chance that the relaxation rules may be withdrawn, if cases increase.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience in this matter. I know it is a very difficult time for everyone, but WeaverHouse will never put financial gain above the safety of the people who work at, and the patients that visit the practice.

It is not by any means set in stone, but we are looking to have everything in place by early June, which will enable us to open our doors again. This of course is subject to change according to many things.

I am in constant contact with all the team, and together we are working in ensuring guidelines will be adhered to.

The practice remains open for telephone calls between 12-3pm should you need advice or support from one of our practitioners. Please leave a message, and I can assure you, a call back will be made within 24 hours.

We very much look forward to seeing you all again soon, we may look a little different when you return to us (Adam could very easily audition and secure the role of a castaway on a desert island - his hair is ridiculously long !!!!!), when we make the practice as safe as possible in protecting us all against the virus.

WeaverHouse COVID-19 Update 17 April 2020

WeaverHouse COVID-19 Weekly Update.

Hi everyone

As per the announcement yesterday, the practice will remain closed for the next 3 weeks. This is not ideal in any way, however, I have to put the safety and wellbeing of our patients, clients, Associates and staff, at the forefront of any decision making.

The telephone lines remain open daily, where a message can be left if you need any support or advice during this time. Our team are happy to call individuals and discuss any issues they have.

I have a start up plan ready to go, and this will be activated when and only when it is safe for everyone. There may be some changes in the way we treat, however, I will look at all options when the time is right.

This is a very challenging time for everyone. We all have friends, family and loved ones that have had to make major changes during this time.

As a practice, we miss you all. We very much look forward to seeing you all soon. In the meantime, look after each other, stay home, and stay safe.

With the warmest of regards,

WeaverHouse COVID-19 Update 10 April 2020

Hi everyone

Here at WeaverHouse we continue to monitor the governments advice on social distancing and remain closed. I will continue to update this decision weekly.

Whilst this continues to be an extremely hard decision, protecting our patients, associates and staff, remains paramount during this extremely challenging time for us all.

I know some of you will be struggling with pain management , and I am pleased to inform you that some of our Osteopaths are available to offer telephone support in dealing with this. Whilst they will not be able to diagnose exactly what the issue is, they will be able to offer suggestions in enabling you to manage the problem.

If you would like to use this service, please leave a message at WeaverHouse on 01270 629933, or email us at info@weaverhouse.com and somebody will call you back as soon as possible.

Stephen Bate, our resident Hypnotherapist, is hoping to offer a free video call to patients who are interested, in a 'cleanse the mind' session. Please keep an eye on our website and FB page for an update.

Our Sports Masseur, Andrew Parsons, is also offering help and support by telephone communication,  as well as a 'listening ear' for those that are struggling being isolated alone.

In addition to this he is operating exercise classes through Skype, of gentle to moderate intensity (including chair based exercise), at £5.00 per session. Please contact the practice if you would like to participate in these sessions.

Adam and I are really missing participating in the daily challenges that running a large business brings. We very much miss our patients, their stories of what they have been up to, how all their families are, how their holiday was, the list goes on and on and on............................

We also miss our amazing team, from the cleaning lady Jan, to each and every one that has continued to make our business shine. Every one of our team is equal, no matter what their role is at WeaverHouse. We very much look forward to having you all back doing what you do best, and soon !

I would like to wish you all a truly lovely Easter Weekend. To your families and friends, and to each and every one of you, stay safe, look after each other, and most importantly, stay home.

WeaverHouse Press Release

After much deliberation, as well as our governing body advising that we are still allowed to carry out osteopathy treatment on our patients, we have made the decision to stop all ‘hands on’ treatment with immediate effect. We really feel that we have no choice in this matter.

Non ‘hands on’ practitioners are offering their treatments through skype if required. The practice remains open between 12pm and 3pm Monday to Friday for telephone support/advice only.

Emails and voicemail will continue to be monitored daily.

We are so sorry to let our patients down. Our duty of care will always be there, and we will endeavour to have everything back to normal as soon as we are able. We will work extra hours, and do whatever else it takes to accommodate each and every one of you.

I would like to also take this opportunity to address our amazing team, from the lady that cleans the practice, to every one of our practitioners and receptionist that add to the continued success of our brand and company. All of these individuals are responsible for us winning the prestigious Practice of the Year Award from the Institute of Osteopathy.

We are extremely fortunate to have such an amazing group of people to work alongside with on a daily basis.

Our website will be updated weekly with any developments, and if you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact the practice.

Thank all so very much for your understanding regarding this matter.

Finally, to our clients that don’t have anybody to talk to. We will always make time to chat to you.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

COVID-19 UPDATE

To all our clients, present, future, and past -

Please be assured we are taking every precaution to protect our clients, Associates, staff and premises, from COVID-19.

We are following daily advice from the Government and World Health Organisation.

The practice remains open and we have taken all the necessary steps to elevate our already high standards of hygiene.

All Associates and staff are monitored for any signs of the virus and we would ask anybody who has encountered any symptoms of COVID-19 to postpone their appointment for a later date.

We are also offering clients the opportunity to wait in separate rooms away from reception before their treatment, if they would prefer.

I would like to reiterate that the health and safety of our clients and staff remains paramount at this challenging time for all.

WeaverHouse Press Release for New Hypnotherapist

Press Release

Hypnotherapist Promotes the Benefits of Focusing on Solutions

Local Hypnotherapist Stephen Bate is the latest therapist to join the team at Weaver House in Nantwich. Specializing in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a highly effective form of therapy, which is attracting clients looking for support with mental and emotional struggles as well as physical ones.

There is no doubt that illnesses caused or made worse by stress are on the increase*. Conditions such as anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), agoraphobia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and migraines are all ways that excess or sustained stress can affect our well-being.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) tackles these conditions by reducing anxiety and helping clients to regain a sense of perspective; once anxiety is under control many troublesome symptoms are alleviated. The therapy encourages positive thinking by helping clients to focus on solutions to problems, rather than dwelling on the problems themselves. Clients usually find their sleep patterns improve and motivation, confidence and self-esteem are all enhanced.

SFH is the brainchild of David Newton, founder of the nationally recognized Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) School, originally founded in Bristol, and which now has training centers across the country. He explains: “Stress is a part of normal everyday life: dealing with household accounts and paperwork, traffic hold-ups, pressures at work, strains in our close relationships, health worries — if the stress is sustained or excessive it can lead to a vast array of emotional, behavioral or even physical illnesses”.

SFH differs from earlier forms of therapy by encouraging clients to formulate a positive image of their problem-free future rather than analyzing the cause or symptoms of the problem itself. It is a highly effective and liberating approach.

Local Hypnotherapist Stephen Bate is enthusiastic about joining the team at Weaver House “I welcome the opportunity to help people and understand how hard it can be to make changes without support. I have seen the tremendous benefits of focusing on solutions and encouraging positive thinking – clients find the approach amazingly uplifting”.

Stephen Bate is a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist practicing at Weaver House 126 Hospital Street

+ What should I bring with me?                                                                                     Please bring any current or relevant X-ray results, scans or medical reports that you may have. A list of current medications and a water bottle.
+ Do I need a referral to see an osteopath?                                                                     No, the great thing is you can self-refer for any of the treatments we offer at WeaverHouse.
+ How soon can I get an appointment to see an Osteopath?
You should be able to get an appointment within 3 days of call depending upon availability of times and it's sometimes possible to get an appointment the same day.
+ Can I choose to see either a Male or Female Osteopath?                                       When you call to make your appointment you will be asked if you have a preference of seeing either a male or female osteopath and we are fortunate to have two male osteopaths and two female osteopaths and you are also more than welcome to bring a chaperone to your appointment should that make you feel more comfortable.
You are welcome to contact WeaverHouse in confidence to discuss your personal situation and/or to book an appointment.
